Rewrites of Fanfiction - Jolly Fanon basically
(I probably won't actually "write" any of these)
So have you ever read a fanfiction of a series or movie that you like, and thought, "I like this idea, but what if it went like this..." and had scenarios pop in your head that end up being fanfictions of fanfictions? Because it happens to me often. Where an author has a great concept, but they either take weird turns with it, or could have done it better but limited themselves. Or in some cases for me, the story could have been more epic if they had taken two of their ideas and put them together, making either for a better story or a better character. Or in even more cases for me, they have an idea that sounds awesome, but in your head you can imagine it being way more awesome but it's really just wish-fulfillment. I have a lot of wish-fulfillment ideas, usually revolving around a OP Percy Jackson story (sucker for it, I told you). Well here are some of those ideas. Credit will be given to the stories that I "rewrite".
Rewrite mash-up of two stories by I'mjusttryingtofindmyway. They are "Percy Jackson-Power right" and "The Spider". So the PJO story is about Percy gaining the power of the Olympians and traveling through time and space, and also the Doctor from Doctor Who shows up, don't ask, read if you're curious. "The Spider" is a Spider-man/Avengers story (though it's categorized under Avengers), where a self-insert takes over Peter's body and Peter is no more. And boy can you tell it's self-insert without reading the summary. This boy... Anyway, most of the universe is taken from the MCU (though timing is screwed with a bit), with some comics and some X-Men Evolutions. One main thing I'd be changing is that Percy is very much a one-girl-guy, to the point of being a virgin for almost 2,000 years, while the SI Peter is close to forming a harem. So my middle-guy will be with multiple women, but that's over long periods of time, one at a time. So yeah, my idea is to take Percy, give him more powers from the Olympians (he only gets a few in the story, mainly just seeming to give him a broad skill-set), make him stay in places longer, actually age, go to more places, and try and build families even if he'd outlive them, because Percy can't help but get close. As he travels, he gains powers over time and space (trust me here) and hops to different worlds, mostly accidentally. But eventually, his home world ends, and being one of the most OP beings in his world (trust is important, you guys), the gods of his universe pass his powers onto him, as they will fade but they could live on in spirit through Percy who will live on again, as is his new nature. He lives on as the second soul in Peter's body straight from birth. Here that, MCU!?! No one's killing Peter off in this story! (at least not yet...) Be prepared for a lot of crossovers with OP Percy. This is fun.
